The Arapahoe Philharmonic, the premiere community-based orchestra of the Denver Metro area, encourages all musicians, professional and amateur alike to join our ranks and our mission to engage, enrich, and inspire.

For any professional, pre-professional, student, or gifted amateur musician looking to cultivate their musical and performance skills, the Arapahoe Philharmonic provides artistic development for all of our orchestra members.

Auditions for the 24-25 season are going on now! Please submit your audition by July 14, 2024 to be considered for the upcoming season!

Audition Instructions

For Section players (including all strings), please prepare 5-8 contrasting standard orchestral excerpts of your choice five by video or audio (Google Drive or Youtube are preferred) Each excerpt can be a different video file. Please contact us if you need guidance in choosing the excerpts.

Upload the videos to Google Drive, an email the link to the folder and your resume to office@arapahoe-phil.org

Video and audio should be recorded in highest quality possible.

Current Openings

• Concertmaster/Leader: Application Instructions

  Deadline for submission is June 14, 2024 at midnight.

  Pay is 170/service with a 50 service guarantee, more services may be offered.

  You may, if you choose, record each solo and excerpt as a separate video and splice the videos together. However, please no editing within each selection.
